   JSLC Enterprises is a Preferred Source, New York State Industries for the Disabled, (NYSID) member agency.

• The advantage of Preferred Source procurement is that there is no need to follow the competitive bid process.
• NYSID purchases satisfy the obligation of NY State and local government customers to the Preferred Source Program.
• This program was established via Article XI, Section 162 of the New York State Finance Law.
• This law mandates that NY State agencies, schools, public authorities and municipalities are required to purchase products and services from a Preferred Source offering.
