Bright Beginnings

The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center is licensed under the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to provide quality childcare for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years of age. We offer full and half day slots as well as 2, 3 & 5 day options.

Bright Beginnings promotes social skills, developmentally appropriate activities and practices age appropriate self-help abilities. All of this is accomplished in a nurturing environment and in partnership with the child’s family.

The Early intervention program, which falls under the auspices of the Department of Health, is designed to empower parents to seek services for their young child who may be experiencing a delay in one or more developmental domains (Cognitive, Communication, Physical, Social-Emotional, and Adaptive Behavior).

The Early Intervention program serves eligible children from birth through three years of age in natural environments. Evaluations are performed at a variety of times and locations to fit the needs of the parents.

The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center operates integrated preschool classrooms, under the jurisdiction of the New York State Education Department and OCFS, for both typically developing children and students with disabilities between the ages of 2 years 9 months and 5.

The Bright Beginnings program promotes social interaction, pre-kindergarten readiness skills and age appropriate self-help abilities. All of this is accomplished in a nurturing environment and in partnership with the child’s family.

We also offer Universal Pre-k for 3 and 4 year-olds through the Watertown School District.
