The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence New York (www.thearcjslc.org), is pleased to announce that they have completed the process of unification. The agencies formerly known as St. Lawrence NYSARC and Jefferson Rehabilitation Center merged to enhance both agencies’ ability to support people with developmental disabilities.
St. Lawrence NYSARC, a private, non-profit organization committed to maximizing the potential of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, received grants totaling $38,500 from the Trustee Management board of NYSARC Trust Services, in 2018. The funds were used to support local guardianship and recreational programs benefitting 1,513 people with disabilities.
Potsdam Elks Lodge #2074 donated $400 to St. Lawrence NYSARC’s Autism Awareness Walk. This year's Walk had over 450 participants in attendance and raised more than $20,000 to support local programs for people on the Autism Spectrum.
