Bright Beginnings Preschool

The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center is licensed under the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) to provide quality childcare for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years of age. We offer full and half day slots as well as 2, 3 & 5 day options. Bright Beginnings promotes social skills, developmentally appropriate activities and practices age appropriate self-help abilities. All of this is accomplished in a nurturing environment and in partnership with the child’s family.

The Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center operates integrated preschool classrooms, under the jurisdiction of the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and OCFS, for both typically developing children and students with disabilities. Enrollment in each classroom is regulated by NYSED with greater than 50% of the students in each classroom being typically developing. We accept referrals for students with disabilities from the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) in school districts located in Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Lewis and Oswego counties. We also offer Universal Pre-k for 3 and 4 year-olds through the Watertown City School District.
